To attend pre-kindy children must turn three years of age before July of the year in which they attend.  Children must also be toilet-trained as there are no nappy-changing facilities on site.  However, if your child is working with our toilet training specialist, then we will work with you to assist in this process with your child.  Children are unable to attend until they turn three, unless a parent remain onsite with them.  For example, if your child turns three in March, you will need to attend with them in Term One until they have had their third birthday.  If your child does not turn three until Term Two (April, May, or June), they will not be able to attend until the term starts.  Once the term starts, you will need to attend with them until they have their third birthday.

To attend kindy children must turn four years of age before July of the year in which they attend.

To attend Pre-Primary children must turn five years of age before July of the year in which they attend.

To attend playgroup children are required to be accompanied by a family member and be between the ages of 0 and 6.

Placement process

Places will be offered to children according to the order of their names on the waiting list, and until all positions have been filled.  A limited number of second term starter positions are offered initially in pre-kindy.

First round offers are sent to parents in July/August of the year prior to the child commencing, with a non-refundable placement fee required to secure a position for your child at pre-kindy.

We will endeavour to accommodate your group preference though placements are made on a first offered first confirmed basis.  Confirmed means the school has received completed enrolment forms, birth certificates and Medicare immunisation records for the child and the placement fee has been paid.

Once all class positions have been filled for the following year, you will receive confirmation regarding your child’s group session times, his or her teacher’s name and information about orientation and AGM dates.  The Parent Orientation Night will inform you briefly on the policies and procedures of the school and the role of the School Board.  It is also a night to meet other parents in your group.  This is a Parents Only event and we do suggest you send one parent or organise care for your child/children.

The school has a uniform that the students are encouraged to wear.  This helps to foster pride and also ensure that all children can identify with the school on special occasions and excursions, as part of our duty of care.  The uniform includes a t-shirt, jumper and bucket hat in the school's colours of green and purple.  Additional uniform items can be purchased from the school.  Please contact the school for further details.
